Taking a shot at the brain trust here.

I have an M4 with a collapsible stock. It has the correct recoil tube and the stock is not pinned. The stock locks up tight and straight at fully closed and fully extended, however when I try to close the stock in the middle position, the stock partially locks, but is out of alignment and can be pushed out of position with light force. I need the middle position for use with body armor.

Anybody have any thoughts?
