What are the best 10 rounders for my RRA LAR15.

As an alternate is there a good permanent block for my several 20 rounders (CMP match type)

I do not look forward to the day this happens

Will they be illegal to buy or to own?
With CO's shitty government we have a 15 round mag limit. We can still own whatever but cannot sell anything higher. My 15 round or less mags are just for getting beat up at the range so I just get the cheapest I can find. The rest are all steel GI or Magpul.
Magpul and Hexmag both make 10 round mags that I feel are of great quality.

Magpul 10 rounders work in NY. It just sucks paying more for a 10 than a 30.

My sympathies. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me and sent to me from Washington to Arizona.

Are you looking to buy ten round magazines in anticipation of a ban, or just want to know what to look for when they do? Personally, I wouldn’t spend a dime on ten rounders unless I absolutely had to, and certainly not before it became “law.”

$12 a mag is not too bad.

I like Lancers a lot as well.

The brand of AR15 doesn't matter if the rifle is built to spec.

The only 10-round mags I've used are from Magpul. They have worked flawlessly, for many hundreds of rounds. Understand that the 10th round fits into the mag quite tightly. Inserting the mag on a closed bolt requires a very positive press on the bottom of the mag. Maybe even a slap. It's much better to insert a fully loaded 10-round Magpul on an open bolt.

I built a 24"barreled varmint AR. I bought 10 round Pro Mags for it. I use them at the range for everything.
