Incorrect.

You seem to get mad Big Grin for some reason when I say that the gen 3 mags are the best.

I posted why in the other thread a month ago about this topic. Feel free to review.

He knows more than me, so he technically knows more than "anybody". Did you mean everybody? Razz

All kidding aside, PMAG and OKAY Surefeed are GTG. I'd stick with them. I use PMAGs (I stipple them with a soldering iron) in my chest rig and kydex pouches, and OKAY in everything else with some 100mph tape and paracord pulls because they fit better (and because I really like numbers that are multiples of 28).

As for PMAGs, Gen3 has the paint matrix, seems to work better in bullpups (the Gen2s were iffy, which is why the EMAG ["export magazine"] came out) and the HK416, but I think it was a really minor tweak as opposed to a really substantive change in material or design.

I signed up for the e-mails suggested by Sigmund for the Okay mags.

Looks like the overwhelming opinion is that either the Okay mags or Pmags are good, but honestly I'm confused by the PmMag variations. Their website didn't help much.

Still haven't e-mailed Greg Cote but I may call him Friday.

As for the PMags, all I want is sturdy, reliable 30-rd mags that will function in my M-4gery. Cheap is good, too, more left for ammo.

Don’t overthink it.

Don’t buy ProMag. Other than that go see magazine recommendations in this thread and be good.

You're probbably right. I'll just pick up a couple PMags next time I see thm on sale, then wait for Okay's to show up.

Yep, and buy in bulk if you can. I have... oh, thirty or forty of these guys. They go on sale often for $100, shipped.

I'm sure there's better deals on bigger quantities, but you can get a good start in multiples of ten.
