Maybe to go along with the regular model you're getting for your kids?

Or, just because you never had one when you were little?

Or, maybe a Model 25?

We bought a few last year, one to shoot and one to keep.

Definitely hits the nostalgia button for us.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

I didn't know this was a thing. I think I may have to get a matched set for myself and the kiddo. Big Grin

And yes, I had one and actually wore the damn thing out over the course of about a decade. One could load it up and plink all day, but if one were so motivated, one could load it up and be good for maybe an hour or so. Big Grin

I know it shouldn't, but seeing the matching safety googles while shooting Red Ryders in the back yard makes me want to run with scissors...in traffic...at night. Big Grin

One of those has tempted me. I'm 6'2". My wife and I have a couple of standard RRs. I recently bought a Bullseye model with the rail and black stock. I put a little FieldSport red-green dot scope on it. My wife and I enjoy shooting it.

My first BB Gun was a Crossman 762. BB / .177. I WORE it out! THOUSANDS or rounds. Then I think I replaced it with a 766.

When my son was of age, I got him a 760 but it was plastic and pot metal. Not as good.
