I plan on adding some 147gr bullets to my stash.

Does your gun like round nose or RNFP better?

Are you looking for projectiles to roll your own or are you looking for a factory loading?

I've only seen a couple brands that make factory 147gr Round Nose ammo - Freedom Munitions and Wilson Combat. Everything else is flat nose or JHP.

ETA: Fiocchi & Prvi Partizan makes a 158gr Subsonic RN but it's not cheap.

Please post if you know of any other factory loadings.
Thanks!

Mine (SP5) has eaten anything I've put through it. FN, RN, HP, 115gr, 124gr, 147gr, doesn't seem to matter. About 1800 rounds of whatever I had laying around. Zero malfunctions. (All factory mags)

My 9MM MP5 always ran fine with the Lawman 147s. That Projectile is a RNFP

While it is now in the hands of a buddy, we have switched to 158s or 165s in all the 9MM guns. 158s are pictured while the 165s kind of a pointy round nose

I have kept the MP5/357 and the MP5/10. That 357SIG runs everything

My PTR works fine with every kind of 147 or 158 (Fiocchi) I feed it, even with flatnosed bullets.

I've only run 115 and 124 in mine, and they ran fine. Mine is full auto, so I like the cheap stuff. Got my first silencer yesterday and will break it in tomorrow.

If you want to go full 90s SWAT the old Federal 9BPLE is abundant and cheap for JHP. Old tech JHP but cheap.

I have a DJ Getz MP5K clone. It doesn’t like hollow points at all. I’ve never tried to figure out why. I never tried flat nose or anything heavier than 124gr.
