| I only have two that definitely add value to the somewhat rare rifle, otherwise I don't keep em. (they usually end up being used when I sell something else) It's the plastic cased ones that cause me problems. Don't like throwing them away, but don't need them all either. |

| I keep all mine. It's been handy in the past when selling or trading in. Doesn't add much value, but it is a definite nudge towards closing the deal. |

| My Tikka box actually has made for a great recurve box for my daughter's takedown bow. Otherwise, I've kept the plastic cases that some handguns came in, but no cardboard

I agree. The original box, while not giving any inherent value in modern non collectible guns, tends to imply a gun well cared for and may as the apprentice indicated seal a deal |
