I went to the range today with my new SIG 550 'Special Black'. I bought it as a pistol (20" barrel) and put the stock on it last week. I managed to get to the range today. I was shooting at steel targets out to 400 yards. 100 and 200 yard plates were pretty easy but the 300 and 400 were challanging for me. I think I will put a 3x or 5x red dot optic on it. The Pittsburgh SWAT Team was at the range doing their training.

It's a beautiful rifle. Anyone would be proud to own that Swiss made. Did you have to have it imported?

Congrats! Enjoy it. I've been doing my research on imported 55X rifles, I'm very jealous.

Congrats! The 55x series is easily one of my favorites. Sweet shooters

Beautiful Black Special. The irons are fun. I shoot my pe90 with irons on steel out to 500 yds. It’s a near constant range companion.
