Has Ruger said anything about its plans for Marlin? The website currently shows that they are only making 1895 rifles in one configuration - no others. The 1895 they are making looks like it would be a popular, modernized model with a ghost ring/fiber optic sight, a rail, and threaded muzzle. Nothing wrong that, but some may want more traditional models. Does anyone know anything about Ruger's plans for Marlin? The fish is mute, expressionless. Not sure if this answers your specific questions, but read the last few posts on page 4 of the existing thread a few down the page from this thread. https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...935/m/8120056584/p/4

I don't know what Ruger's specific plans are for Marlin. The Marlin brand lost a lot of credibility at the hands of Remington and I would imagine Ruger is going to try to rebuild the Marlin reputation a couple of guns at a time to start. _____________________________ "The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living." Thanks. While there isn't an answer there, it probably indicates that there isn't an answer outside of Ruger's walls. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.
