Below is a photo of the rear sight. Only MBUS is stamped on both front and rear sights and the rear sight has an emblem that resembles a rabbit in my photo. No other identification marks as to the manufacture of the sights.

That's a Magpul MBUS rear sight. CZ started using them on Scorpions 2-3 years ago. The earlier low profile sights are better suited for the gun in my opinion, but plenty of people like and use the MBUS.

Thanks for the info. Looking it up on the Magpul site, I see that emblem that looks like a rabbit in my photo. Description says that it is specifically tailored to the AR15 / M16 platform. Would that be part of my not being able to sight the gun in any closer than 8-inches low on the EVO?
