What sights for a SIG 522? Login/Join

I dug my 522 out that I got in a trade years ago.
What fun! I've ordered a new butt pad as the original was falling apart.

I have a counterfeit Trijicon red/green dot on it that works but I have little confidence in it.
What are forum members using on a 522 or like AR .22 ?

Thanks in advance

I'm using a Vortex Strike Eagle, several years old, I'm happy with it. Love the 522, its been a fun tack driver. The PSA sale/code gets it much lower than listed MSRP: Vortex Strike Eagle

I have an old Primary Arms green dot on my 522 and it works fine, stays zeroed every time I have shot it.

A Sig Romeo is basically perfect for it. Cheap and reliable.

Do you want a red dot or irons? Sig made a 522 sight set with a precision rear and hooded front.

I'm going to go with JonDaddy's advice and give a Romeo5 a chance.

I'd like a red dot as I've been shooting my pump .22s with classic irons and could do with a little change/variety.

Within the last year or so I've had cataract surgery and opted for the multifocus lens and I can see all my sights much better. I no longer even need reader glasses. shooting is much more fun when you can see!

The Sig Romeo 5 is a very good RDS, I bought one for my Sig 556Xi during a post-Christmas sale a few years back.
