There’s no part of the dummy barrel inside of the receiver, so there’s no chamber for the round to go into. The bolt would just strip the round off of the mag and into the big empty area in front of the receiver. The round will just roll around in there.
Brain fart, you’re right of course
My son wants me to find a registered bolt for it, he’s pretty liberal with my budget

darkest2000the dummy barrel doubles as a safety device but still makes it appear outwardly like a live gun.
An interesting idea that probably won't pass the safety checks nowadays.
The model A is the closest thing you can get to a real SMG because it uses the original SMG style sights. The model B comes with a mini Uzi style rear sight that supposedly is more suitable for a 16" barrel.

mr kablammoBest bumper sticker,
"Honk if you've never seen an Uzi fired out the window of a moving car".

sigspecopsI shot one of these on full auto when I was in the Navy. In the early nineties I was stationed in Crete and one day while attending an anti-terrorism class, some guys from a protective detail stopped by and offered to let a few us put some magazines through their UZI.
I had never pulled the trigger on any full auto firearm before. It was shocking to see how fast it chewed through a magazine.
It was super fun and definitely nothing like the one handed, endless magazine Uzis of Hollywood.
