I know many have these around and do not get used often. They are another tool in the toolbox. They do serve a purpose for sure. I usually keep in an on the go kit. They come in different calibers obviously. If you happen to have some and did not know that the caliber is stamped on the bronze weight Wink .

Have a great week all.

I like and use mine regularly.

Pro tip, when you have the gun in a gun vice, and you feed the brass tip into the chamber, use an air compressor to give it a quick shot of air, and the brass cap and pull string come out the muzzle without pushing the rope.

I have a couple and really like them. Granted they get dirty quick if it is your initial cleaning tool. I try to use a foam cleaning spray in the barrel and wipe with a patch prior to the Boresnake.

I use them more than a regular rod and patches/brushes these days. Quick and easy. Time is important these days. I used to strip and completely clean after a range trip.
