Shirley, you jest!

"Check out the most unique and dynamic muzzle device on the market! The Gyro Brake combines recoil reduction of a simple muzzle brake and adds a stabilization element as the outer drum spools up spinning at thousands of RPMs. It is entirely powered from the muzzle blast spinning the outer drum. It also keeps your muzzle over 200 degrees cooler due to the forced convection of the drum. This is the perfect muzzle device for any high rate of fire application!

Stability is primarily achieved through the conservation of angular momentum. This occurs when the rotary drum reaches an optimal angular velocity, accelerated by the resultant torque of the muzzle gases impinging on the annular impeller, ultimately enabling this kinetic device to resist lateral forces. All those fancy words essentially mean you can mag dump into trash more accurately! It’s all ball bearings nowadays!"

The viewer comments are snicker-worthy

...and don't call me Shirley.

I eagerly await the first review on this device on SF. The user will likely have the AR supported by an international benchrest competition quality front & rear rest, surrounded by heavy sandbags, shooting a target at 25 yards, using a 35-power scope. "Dude, this fidget spinner muzzle device iz da shit. See my one chosen 3-round group."

Folks need to spend more time shooting, and less money on widgets.

Maybe make the other folks on the range think you've got a minigun as it spools back down after the mag dump.

It works!

But it because it's spinning or because it weighs 2-3 times as much? Big Grin
