I had one years ago and loved it. I sold it,didn't really want to, but did so for a family member because I wanted them to have a good quality gun as it was their first ar-15. I miss that gun but they are quite happy with it, so I am happy for them.

I have a PM400 also. I am thinking of doing the same thing
We’re there any issues swapping out the buffer tube? Besides waiting on paperwork?

It took quite a bit of heat to get the factory buffer tube off. It was on there with thread locker.

On an AR? It should be staked. Loctite? That's a shortcut instead of doing it the proper way, a job that would take a skilled gunsmith about 30 seconds with a punch.

Loctite, once cured, is like concrete. If they're going to do it that way, at least use Vibra-Tite VC-3.
