Who wants to go on a velociraptor hunt?

I had a real one 30 or so years ago and it was horribly unreliable in self loading mode and extremely difficult to cycle in pump action, but it was cool as shit.

Hard pass. I bought one back in the day and hated it. Heavy, bulky, and loading it was a bit of a chore IIRC. Got rid of it in a year or two. I also had, and still have, a Benelli M3 and it was superior in every way. Cool looks is all the SPAS had.

I thought is was cool that you could run it as either a pump action or semi-automatic. I kept mine set up in pump mode and chamber empty. I would shift it to semi-auto as I used the slide action to load. Got rid of the "hook" and put the alternative stock on it.

The M3 could also do that, plus it was easier to swap between the cycling modes. I bought my SPAS with the alternate stock, so I never got to try the “hook”.

Prolly could buy two clones for what a factory tailhook and grip plug (what I’m missing from the one I inherited) would cost.

The original was terrible and they somehow made it worse it seems, based on various video reviews I've seen.

This is also just a "lookalike" and not a true clone, so anyone hoping to have a source of new production replacement parts can stop dreaming too...all in all kind of a wasted effort IMO.

Much like the Bren Ten, this is probably best left in our childhood fantasies.

There are things the Turks clone reasonably well. 1911 and 2011's, for example. So far, semi auto shotguns don't seem to be high on that list from everything I'm seeing.
