Looking to rebarrel my A2 rifle that I have used since the late 90's for NRA and CMP matches. Looking at either of these two RRA barrels. Does RRA seem to make a quality barrel? https://www.rockriverarms.com/...play&category_ID=264 https://www.rockriverarms.com/...play&category_ID=272

I have a friend who shoots competitively and does fairly well. He really likes their SS barrels. __________________________

Thanks for the reply BB61. I'm not going to shoot matches with this after rebarreling I have a different rifle for this now. As it is now the rifle has 1/4 moa sights, Kreiger match barrel and a free float hand guard assembly. Just looking to make an A2 hbar clone. Just was looking at these barrels for the 223 Wylde chamber and taper pinned front sight base.

I think RRA makes a good barrel/gun. I have an older Predator RRA rifle and it is in the .223 Wylde chambering. It is very accurate for me and is consistent with longer shooting sessions.

My second NRA/CMP National Match Service Rifle build was with a RRA Nation Match barrel. It was very accurate. That rifle took me to Master class, the barrel was about shot out and I started a complete new build with Krieger barrel. On a side note, I built a carbine with what is basically a 16" National Match barrel from RRA, it is ever bit as accurate as the 20" NM barrel. I say that the RRA barrel is great bang for the buck.
