No details on their site I can find, not sure if these are Okay Industries or some other vendor. Still a good price but would prefer to know who makes them.

Take a look at the description of their single 30-round magazines and compare item numbers. Says Okay right there in black and white. You’re just buying 10 instead of one. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SIG228,

I broke down and ordered 10 on Friday which was the last day of the sale. They came today and all are Okay mags from 2016 with green Magpul followers. Not sure how to post pictures here.

It's hard to believe that, these days, the aluminum mags still cost that much. They should be $10 a pop regular non-sale price. Q

I agree, but we all know that’s not reality. And with Okay mags no longer being produced, when they’re gone, they’re gone. 20-round Okay mags have already gone way of the Do-Do Bird.

They are no longer produced. What's the big deal? They are AR magazines, for Pete's sake, not any collectors items. And there are millions of quality AR mags out there. Q

I think a lot of it is nostalgia. Okay Industries made magazines from WWII (as B. Jahn) until last year. Their 30rd AR mags developed a reputation for reliability in the pre-Magpul era and that continued. I don't think it's unwarranted, but I do think in the era of $9 Pmags, they don't make as much sense at $20. I have a ten pack of Surefeeds that are all still NIW that I don't feel the need to unpack. Will my Pmags turn to dust in 30 years? Maybe, but if that happens, the followers in my NIW Surefeeds will probably be shit by then also. ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

Kind of like German SIG pistols, right?

Not quite. The Okay mags listed at $21/ea had to be heavily discounted to $13 to entice people to buy. When is the last time you saw out of production NIB/NOS German SIG pistols being dumped on the market at a discount to entice people to buy? Ans: Never. Q

$21 is a stretch, however they are the highest quality aluminum magazines made, and they will no longer be made. They will easily sell at $13. Not everyone is a fan of Magpul magazines.

Not stretching anything. Just click on the link above to see how much RRA sells it for, when it's not on "sale". Let's say, even if they were at $16/ea. when not on sale, the point is, it takes a discount for them to easily sell. But, with out of production NIB/NOS German SIG pistols, you don't need to discount anything. In fact, they will easily sell even when listed above MSRPs. So, they are not "Kind of like German SIG pistols". And, it doesn't even have to be SIG. Let's try that with HK (P7) or Walther (P5). Same thing. Q

They must had had a warehouse full of these mags. Especially to still be selling 2016 dated mags (9 years old) I already have boxes of NHMTG, Colt, and Okay mags (all the same, made in the same factory with different floor plates) and yes they are the cream of the crop in GI mags. For a discontinued, no longer available mag, that was a good price. These will be worth $20-$30 each in a few years if manufacturering doesn’t come back. ______________________________________________________ Often times a very small man can cast a very large shadow
