I’ve got four of the ones they list (UMP, SP45A3, Kriss Vector, and SMG-45), as well as a GHM45, that they didn’t test, and would rate the Stribog as #1. I have a 10mm Banshee, so I’m familiar with the platform, but even if I had a .45 cal one, I think I’d still rate the SP45A3 as #1.

I've lots of the real contendors and most of tested ones (and no experience to some of the obvious terribles like the high point or ruger). But I'm still running with the APC45 glock mag version as the best of this kind of gun. hard to find fault with it overall. I had high hopes for a UMP conversion and the LWRC but neither are really close. The CMMG is decent but really lacks something, but it would be my second choice primarily because of the AR roots and infrastructure.
“So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”
The problem with the 45ACP Glock mags is no one makes a reliable hi cap mag (even the Kris mags have issues). The CMMG 45s need to have the ejector and ejector springs upgraded as well.

I haven’t had any problems with the current MagEx2 Kriss mags that came with my G3 Vector, but I haven’t had that many rounds through them yet. Seems like the gold standard are HK UMP mags, but only a few guns use them.

The KRISS I owned, was a very accurate pistol and never had an issue with the KRISS/Glock mags. The biggest issue I had with the KRISS was trying to charge it with the hammer down. I had a first gen and not only myself but every other shooter at the range had one heck of a time trying to charge/cycle the gun. I don't know if they changed them or not but it left a bad taste for me and I wound up selling it.
The Stribog has my interest as the ones I have handled seem well built. I have never shot one unfortunately, but one is on my list for the future.

I don’t know about Gen 1, but my Gen 3 .45 is quite difficult to manually charge. The first time I grabbed in, I thought the bolt was stuck. Kriss say they’ve done something with the geometry of the handle in the Gen 3s to improve the leverage, but many people have said it’s still difficult. Assume that it’s just a consequence of that weird downward bolt travel and nothing can really be done.
