Depending on transfer fees at your local ffl, KENTUCKY GUN CO has that same 12 ga stoeger for $289 as part of their black Friday sale this week. I bought the same model at the local farm store for $225 last year around Thanksgiving.

A Perpetual Disappointment...

Not sure if they're still making them, but I recently saw a Rossi 20 ga SxS Coach Gun with exposed hammers at a LGS' in previously owned section. It was $600.00 before negotiation. I had one in 12 ga that I liked a lot. They're out there if you look around.

FYI ORC KyGunCo is good to go. Maybe get some quotes on these.

Last year around Black Friday, Cabelas had a Stoeger coach gun (Black synthetic stock) for 300.

After the first few rounds the thing didn't want to open.
Turns out to be the firing pins, not an ejector issue.

Solved with these.

You may have other reasons for preferring a 20 gauge, but if recoil is the issue, a 12 gauge with 1 1/2" shells is an option.
