I have a friend with an 1100 16 gauge manufactured about 1970 or 71. He's looking for a barrel- 26 or 28" IC or modified.

I checked Midwest and Numrich, no luck.

Any idea?

Thanks. Looks like an amateur re-blue. Four hundred bucks, but they don't grow on trees. I've directed him to it but suggested he keep looking.

Jack First Gun Parts, Rapid City S.D. 605-343-8481

Keep them in mind for new, used and reproduction parts. Ive used them both for the shops I worked at and my own needs.

Yes, the page jehzsa pointed to has three barrels at Broome's that I've suggested to my friend.

I was buying guns from Harvey Broome more than thirty years ago. He had already been selling for fifteen or twenty years at that time. I suppose he's retired or gone and the business has passed down through the family but I could be wrong. He was on the Eastman Gun Show circuit and visiting his tables was always a highlight of any show.

I bought a step-slide Beretta 92 from him, unfired in the box, one of the first 2000 or so made. I still have it.

And I didn't pay anything like this. It was 550.00 IIRC, but that was in 1995.

1. great link jehzsa. Going to keep an eye out for a few Auto 5 barrels.

2. My Dad's Remington 1100 16 Ga is my most prized gun. It is the first gun I ever shot and I recall how proud I was when he let me borrow it for a rabbit hunt with my friends as a teenager.
