D4HeavyThermal Sights for Rifle
Got the fever to get a Thermal Sight. For late night yote and pig hunting. Anyone with any experience or suggestions on which one to get? Price really isnt an issue. Im buy once cry once but, I like to get my moneys worth.

Mars_AttacksI have a pair of ATN THOR-HD 384x19 1.25-5 I hunt rats and coyotes with. It is amazing out to 200 yards.
However it's magnification would be an issue for long distances.
For hog hunting I would go with at least a 4x @640 resolution.
Battery life - ditch the lithium energizers and purchase a set of Kentli li-po rechargeable, they will run more than all night long.

Mars_AttacksYes my video.
100 yards with the temperature around 50°F.
It's only a 1.5-5x.
It works best around 2.5X maximum.
Why I suggest a 4x minimum magnification and 50mm aperture for hogs.
