I have a pair of ATN THOR-HD 384x19 1.25-5 I hunt rats and coyotes with. It is amazing out to 200 yards. However it's magnification would be an issue for long distances. For hog hunting I would go with at least a 4x @640 resolution. Battery life - ditch the lithium energizers and purchase a set of Kentli li-po rechargeable, they will run more than all night long. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Yes my video. 100 yards with the temperature around 50°F. It's only a 1.5-5x. It works best around 2.5X maximum. Why I suggest a 4x minimum magnification and 50mm aperture for hogs. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick. | |||
