The continuing sales on riflescopes—the reason(s)? Login/Join

I never paid much attention to sales on scope sights in the past, so perhaps it’s not all that strange, but it certainly seems that way to me now.

If I had to guess, it would be in part caused by the success the Chinese are having to drive optics manufacturers in other countries out of business. I watch a lot of shooting-related videos, and if one includes any mention of a riflescope, it’s almost always a Chinese brand that’s being extolled for its features and price.

But enough moaning about one more thing I cannot affect. If we’re needing/wanting a new scope, there are some great deals, such as those offered by EuroOptic. If I didn’t already have three of the SAI 6 1-6×24mm LPVO scopes, I would definitely snap one up at the prices they’re being offered for now (maybe I should anyway; my old 77/22 could use an upgrade Roll Eyes ).

They certainly do. I bought 2 Minox scopes at half off or better during their main Black Friday event.

With these sales, if you're in the market for a scope, this might be a good time to get one. I for one am not going to dwell on the reasons.

I got a Bass Pro Shops flyer and one item it shows is the Vortex Strike Eagle, 1-8x, first focal plane for $299. FFP typically adds about a C-note to the price. I have one of these in second focal plane. I haven't worked with it very much yet.
