On Tuesday May 3rd they were out of stock. I will post when the notify email comes in.

I suspect that Speer has a new version coming out, a GD 2 of some sort. This would explain the price drop.

If so, I hope the G2 of their rifle Gold Dots perform better than the new G2 pistol Gold Dots, currently only available in 147 grain 9mm. Test results for those have been less than ideal. (Though there's some rumors circulating that the design of the G2 9mm may have been slightly tweaked recently to improve it.)

It'd be kinda sad if the older discontinued Gold Dots performed better than the newer Gold Dots...

They're baaaack. Got the in stock product notification today.

I've already bought a bunch, is there any good reason to NOT back up the truck and load up on this stuff?

Just that it's $500/1000, and you can by good brass cased FMJ ammo for closer to $300/1000.

How much "good stuff" do you really need? I bought a case of this, but it's not going to be my primary range ammo.

PSA still has the deal. I added a few boxes yesterday when I ordered up one of their enhanced polished trigger groups.

The prices are starting to creep up...

PSA still has the 55 grain Gold Dots for 50 cents per round. http://palmettostatearmory.com...ion-20rds-24446.html

Unfortunately, the 64 grain Gold Dots have gone up a couple bucks, making them 60 cents per round. http://palmettostatearmory.com...ion-20rds-24448.html

And the 75 grain Gold Dots are now 65 cents per round. http://palmettostatearmory.com...ion-20rds-24475.html

Still a solid deal, considering they were selling for $1+ per round just a few months ago.

This was too good to pass on. Let's see if I have my typical slow shipping problems with PSA. I don't need any of this right away.

The 55gr Gold Dots will be for my AR pistol build and the Pmags will go in storage.
