How to streamline a quote from another post ? Login/Join

When replying to another post and just want to "quote" a part of the post, how do we do it properly ?

Quote, as normal, and parse the text to what you want to specifically quote & delete the rest, just be sure to keep the [ quote ] and [ /quote ] tags to keep it quoted.

In the reply, carefully remove the bits you want left out between the "[qwote]Originally posted by blurfl:" and the ending "[/qwote]".
