Wanted to ask if I was allowed to post up a free item in the lounge or maybe the lair. I have a set of VW cargo management blocks, they are plastic blocks that attach to the carpet with velcro in your cargo area of our VW suv to keep items in place. I am not looking for any type of payment or compensation and will ship on my cost. I hate to toss them out since they are new and thought maybe one of the other forum members could use them.

Posting a free item is called Karma in SIGforum lore.

Just wanted to make sure with everything going on with the scammers in the classifieds. I wanted the mods to know this is not a scam to sell or defraud any of our members.

I have two Thermarest sleeping pads, perfect condition, used once I could give away.
I don't know how the Karmanator works. If I post the karma in the lounge and say pick a number
between one and ten thousand, and whoever comes closest wins, would that be ok?
I would know the number, but who would I tell it to beforehand?

It's your karma, you run it how you want. If you want who picks the closest number and has brown hair and blue eyes on a Sunday when they're wearing flip-flops, that's your choice.

Just make sure to give the high profile members extra points
