SigForum has had a long-standing rule that posts to sell an item on SigForum cannot be posted on any other forums. I was wondering if this rule also applies to posts looking to trade an item.

Yes, you can post WTT ads across forums, because in a trade, there's always negotiation beforehand, rather than simply "I'll take it." Therefore, no one attempting to buy items is going to get blindsided, which is the purpose of the policy.
