This one was from the batch of special ordered SIGs that Jaymie Smolens of Afton Arms imported from Germany back in 2012. Some of the others were the black Ilaflon all stainless P226 and the stainless frame P228.

Thank you, David, for making me spend more money. Big Grin

Please, enjoy the pics. Cool

Oh that's sweet - here I thought I did well finding a 1992 Beretta 92FS Centurion yesterday!

That P226SL is amazing! I recall the Ilaflon finished guns and wish I had bought one!

Nice looking pistol. Now for the big question, is it a safe queen or a shooter? The problem I have with some Sig pistols is that they are too pretty to shoot.

Congrats! Neat pistol, and excellent photos. Is the take-down lever the older two-piece rivet-and-lever type? If so I’d suggest replacing it with the newer one-piece MIM part, to avoid possible frame scratches (the rivet sometimes loosens). That’s assuming that you plan to actually shoot it. Smile

Here is the black Ilaflon P226. You bet the natural stainless one will get its days at the range, just like its black brother did. 20k? Probably not, but definitely will not be a safe queen.
