Gray Guns Question

Anyone know if Gray Guns will install replacement sights on a Sig pistol if I buy them from him? I had a new pair of Meprolights I tried to replace today. Rear went in fine with the Sig sight pusher. Front sight broke off and went flying when I tried to install the front with a punch.

Too late now, but I'm confused. Why didn't you use the sight pusher on the front sight, also? Why the punch? The SIG sight pusher is designed for both front and back.

Even though it has the cut out for the front sight replacement the P226 slide does not fit in the tool for the front sight. I'd post a pic of the sight pusher but I don't see any way to post a pic here.

Doing the front sight requires the slide to slide in from different direction than doing the rear sight. That's how my MGW SIG sight pusher works.

Mine looks nothing like that. The bottom part does the rear sight. The top does the front sight. It's marked Sigarms MGW but there is no number.

FYI; as far as I know, Grayguns will install the sights for you. I believe that service is listed on their site. You'll have to check to see how much it will run you.

I would totally take RB211 up on his generous offer!

Czechmate, where are we you located? Maybe someone local can help you out without having to ship your slide. I have an Sig sight pusher as an MGW sight pro. Gray guns can definitely get you squared away and they are always awesome to work with and responsive to inquiries.

Those old sight pushers (I have one too) are really only for the folded slides. While some of the milled slides will fit in the rear sight section and allow a sight change, I’ve never been able to change the front sight on any milled slide using that pusher.

Well that's something you have to discuss with the admin. I just looked at my profile and there is both an email address and location in there.

Call them then send them your slide, they will install your sights, and sight them in for you with live ammo. And if there are any issues with fit or defects, they will take care of it so all you'll have to worry about is why your shooting sucks. Great people at Gray Guns.
