Have a half dozen, but this is my favorite (EB Special Forces Carry)...

I need to get a complete group photo. Except for the two-tone (.45), the rest are 38 Super. The SA Ronin is 9mm but getting a 38 Super barrel fitted).
The middle one of the three is my favorite...Dan Wesson Guardian.

My only 1911 at the moment, a Les Baer UTC thoughtfully (IMO) spec’d by its original owner for no forward serrations and a “semi-naked” slide. I added the stag grips and the bluing wear…knocking on the door of 9,000 rounds through this one.

I like my 1911s with no front slide serrations and with checkered grips front and back. These fill the bill for me. Big Grin

My one and only, a Colt Defender in 9mm bought new in late 2022.
I carry it every other day, and just love it.
Edit - it has walnut grips from grips4u, with multiple coats of Tru Oil on them. Didn’t like the G10s that came on it from the factory.
Also has an EGW recoil spring setup which enhances reliability and lasts longer than the notoriously short-lived factory setup.

There is something so very wrong with that Colt sitting in that plastic bucket. Razz.

I’m just messing with you I am sure it’s super comfortable and useable and that’s really all that matters but it is odd to see a nice 1911 in Kydex.

Touché.
However, it flat-out works. And well.
