Supposedly the only micro that is a holographic sight. It’s made in Europe of US and European components. IMO, it never hurts to have more quality options.

Now admittedly I am a bit of a red dot, hell to be honest shooting neophyte in general. While I have a lot of knowledge and experience I still am far, far from any kind of SME so bear with me with the following questions.

Why the hell would I want a holographic pistol sight with only 800 hours (best case) of battery life in 2026??? I know all about astigmatisms. I’ve had it my whole life and I know prisms/holo alleviate the starburst/blobby issues blah blah. That said we are talking about tools designed for fast acquisition and putting fast effective rounds on target, not shooting precise groups so for me personally I’ve never had an issue putting up fast / effective shots and even good groups with a standard starbursty/blobby dot. So what would drive me to this???

On a rifle where you might be using a dot at longer ranges (rifle ranges so to speak) where more precision might be required I can some SOME benefit to a holo sight / battery life trade offs. On a pistol though???? I mean technology demos are great and all but……this seems to be the gun version of “All hat no cowboy” or “plenty of tactical with no practical”

Take Care, Shoot Safe,
Chris

TFBTV did a video on it. It's a DPP cut with the rear posts removed. Either way, seems like FN is beta testing on it's customers.

Thanks you! I can live with a DPP. I don't understand why FN couldn't have simply stated it.

I’d love to try one out… holographic sights are apparently good if you have an astigmatism.

Lots of red dots are just a mess for me.

Though my Vortex Venom on low setting is passable.
