Could someone give me a lead on Beretta 84 .380 that uses 13 round magazines. Forget about Gunbroker. I’ve had too problems with them.

If you have access to a decent gun show, I usually see a table of 5 or 6 of them out.
I bought one of the Palmetto State Armory offerings.
One side of the slide is a little more worn than I would have liked, but it runs fine.
It's a 42 year old fiream that cost me $360 so I don't regret the purchase.
Although I'd rather have bought one of those I saw at the gun show.

I bought extra mags from Greg Cote LLC

Good luck..

I searched with gun.deals, and there are several sources with them available. Guns.com has several, including a near mint with the box and case, and two mags, for $770.

Beretta pistols in .380 ACP

Mostly Model 85s, but there are a few 84s. (I couldn't narrow down the filters any more.) They vary widely in condition and price. Shipping to your nearest store is free, you can inspect it visually at point of sale before starting the background check and accept or decline, and if you find functional problems there's a 3-day return window.

Classic Firearms is a good place also. I have two of the lower capacity Beretta 380’s. I do like them.

Unless your set on a 84, you could look at the 80X. Same gun (mostly) & can be had in 380 or .32 with just a barrel & mag swap.

If you ever want to go weak at the knees, see if you can find any of these Cheetahs with a nickel finish. Goof lord, they’re pretty!

Keep your eyes open for Browning BDA's in 380. Functionally the same as the 84 and use the same mags.

I picked this up at my LGS for $500. Came with original plastic case, box, manual and 2 mags.

I bought an 84BB from Palmetto State Armory. My experience was similar to 1lowlife's. The finish is what I expected from a gun made in 1988. I was a pleasantly surprised at how flawless it functions.

I researched the gun's history and learned the pistol was originally issued to the Guardia di Finanza, the Financial Guard.

Given how much excellent copies go for, I felt sub-$300 before transfer was a good deal for its condition.

Peace.

DK Firearms has the 84BB for $329, hand-selected for $349 is what I opted for. Mine is very nice.

palmetto State or Classic. I have been eyeballing one as well. Just got a Beretta M1934 .380 from Palmetto a couple weeks ago. Not bad condition for one that was made in 1950!!! Shoots pretty good as well. For $179.99 I was happy.
