I have or have owned 15 Sigs over the years. My Favorite is the 1911 Ultra Compact 9mm and my least favorite was the P290. What are your favorites and least favorites?

I really was expecting pictures clicking on this thread.

To say I am disappointed would be quite the understatement.

My weekend ruined...

My 239. Which is the only one I have currently. Actually just got it back from Sig from getting it refurbished and new sights. I’ve had it for 16 years now.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Favorite: https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...310038374#6310038374 Cut n' paste easier than retyping it again...

Most disliked: P290/RS, for its loooooooong trigger travel to break. Including any actually made by GSG: Mosquito, by far a landslide.

My favorite has always been the P220, but I don't like DA/SA, so in the past I've drifted to 1911s. Now that SIG has been producing more SAO models, the P220 SAO is it, and at the top of my list is the P220 SAO 10mm.

I currently have a P-6 (P225), P228, P229 (.40s&w), P238, 1911-22, and sp2022 (9mm).

I like them all for what they are, but shoot the P229 the least now.

My favorite is the only one I ever let go, it was a P226 in .40 with the .357sig barrel and a second slide with the 9mm barrel and spring assembly.
All in one nice little kit, but I sold it when I got married as (at the time) my wife was uncomfortable with guns in the house.

One of these days I'll get that kit set up again...

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

P250
P226
P220
P220 Nickel
P228
P220 Carry
P320 - still have
P220 10mm for next project

Sigs are only second to 1911’s for me.

Even still quite a unique group of pistols and many different variations for whatever you desire.

Perhaps that is why I am still here Smile

Own:
P250 9mm fs and .22 conversion
P365XL
P320 X5
P210a standard

Fav:
P210a standard - glass smooth and accurate like a rifle

Least:
P320 X5 - front sight was too high, since replaced the sight but it hasnt caught my attention like the p365xl or p210.

My least favorite is my 290RS. I don’t hate it though. For what it is I like it.

Heresy around here but my favorite is easily my 225a1. The previous owner replaced the grips with Sig’s G10 ones and I popped out the DAK mainspring and put in a stock non DAK one. Great little gun. And yes I wish that stupid mag took one more round. Lol

My least favorite Sig was my 232. It was beautiful but I hated that gun and sold it to my brother Big Grin

Very first firearm I bought new was a W. German P226, somehow that fact keeps it in the top spot for me.

My favorite remains (as mentioned in the Apocalypse .45 thread) My P220ST. I collect wayward neglected verified PD guns, and this old girl came to me from the Tarborough, NC PD. A salty old Corporal carried her on duty and for unknown reasons didn't take her home. Currently she wears the desert tan factory Combat grips, which I think really sets her off, and an old pair of Meprolights. This is my "if I only could have one pistol" pistol.

My least favorite would have to be the Mosquito, which I gifted to a friend a few Christmases ago.

I only ever sold 2 Sig's. A 230 because I just don't believe in .380 cal for defense anymore and my 290, because I didn't believe in it anymore.

So, I guess my least fave was the P290.

My favorite by far is my beat up police trade in P226 in 40, 357 sig and 9mm x-change kit! My next is my Legion P229 in .357 sig. My least favorite Sig was the P239 it didn’t feel right it was ugly as hell but then I bought a police trade in 357 sig and shot it. Holy crap I love that ugly bastard too! I can shoot the crap out of that for some reason fast or slow even though it just feels funny in my hand!
So I love all my Sigs!

First was a SP2340 and also the only one I've sold, once I got into P226 and P228 and the other classics I never looked back, a beater W. German P226 is my favorite followed by a beater W. German P228. Least favorite is P239. Coolest and only polymer I've had since SP2340 is a consecutive pair M17 surplus I traded into it.

I've never sold a Sig. I own a P6, a P229, a P245, and a P320. I did have a P365 issued to be briefly, but I sent it off to another officer in exchange for a P320SC. The P365 was too small for my big hands, and the 320SC also shares mags with my duty gun...it's a a more practical choice.
