straightshooter1SHOT Show 2023
Shot used to be a big deal, yet I never went, though I had a chance most every year.
My interest is pretty much limited to the smaller carry guns, like the G43 or P365 and I always look for photos or articles on the new ones.
This year, again, I'll do the same-look and listen for information on smaller carry guns. Otherwise, don't much care if they have the show or not.

AnubismpI find that I am always trying to find and love a small carry gun but keep on not quite hitting the mark. On the bright side, this makes it likely I will be paying attention to just this bracket. Last year I messed with the SS CR920 and as I held it knew that I would own one. That came true so I do say if you and others are thinking of it, definitely go. Reading about it relies on someone else's judgment and experience.

Dave BeanI think all trade shows have taken a big hit over the last couple of years. Covid just accelerated company plans to leave their industry trade shows.
In the photography world, their annual NYC show has been shrinking like crazy. The photography world is struggling as a whole and the show is a reflection of their marketing budget. They are all trying to do more with less. The Auto show is the same, smaller every year.
I think Sig Days are a good idea but the bad part is that, if all the manufacturers go their own way, it will be even more expensive to keep tabs on the industry.

Dave BeanO yeah, forgot my 2 cents
HK - P30 add factory optics cut and button magazine release. Then I will get one.

For Pete's sake, I hope HK made this gun less complex than the VP9.

Also interested in this. I also heard mention of them making a BWC model for the P365. Come to think of it, maybe drop some triple dog dares for B&T to make a new and improved Bren Ten since no one else has been able to pull it off. Carl just might do it because he can.

AnubismpIm interested to check out glocks new trigger though I think I know what it will feel like in my mind. Its cool to have options. Hopefully between the folks that will be there we can come up with some stuff for everyone.
I am also hoping they decide to sell the 47 MOS slide as a standalone but that may be a long shot.

Well, that Johnny Glock gent (isn't a remarkable coincidence that his last name is Glock?) says this trigger breaks at three pounds consistently, with no appreciable difference in takeup from the stock trigger.
I've got a gen5 G19 which, try as I may, I can't get the trigger smoothed out. I'd love to drop one of these new triggers in it.

VgexI wonder if this will count as a US made part, or is it like all other factory Glock parts made ins Austria.

rackrackI'm eager for someone to post the results of a comparison between a G19 Gen5 with the new Glock trigger and a Gen 4 with the Overwatch Precision Falx trigger.

DanHStole this off of Pistol Forum. You'll have to decide.

That would be great, but I won't be holding my breath for it. Has Glock ever sold slides separately?

He also says they copied Timney's design.
As long as it works reliably, I predict the Performance Trigger will be a runaway success. It's not difficult to install. It costs less than most aftermarket triggers. Best of all, for all the guys who believe, "You shouldn't alter the internals of a defensive gun from manufacturer specs. It'll be used against you in a SD shooting..."
Well now you can have a lighter, better trigger, and it's 100% Glock kosher.

bubbatimeThe new Glock flat face trigger is made by Timney.

'The G47 MOS will replace the G17 Gen5 MOS, while the G17 Gen5 (non-MOS) will still remain in the Gen5 lineup.'

Yes there are several companies that will sell a complete or stripped slide. See my post above, not sure if I should get a spare slide (MOS) for a non-MOS 17 I have.

Well, you've scooped Mr. Jonathan Glock, Esq.

parabellumIf you're at SHOT, please go by the Timney booth (if they are even at the show) and ask them if they are manufacturing the Glock performance trigger. Some are claiming that Timney is saying they do not make it.
