Me also. P226 SSE 357 Sig w/ 9mm barrel. The best combat pistol I own.

Since the question is not limited to concealed carry or anything else then I would say I would want a P226 9mm.

Back when I was young, dumb and not nearly as fat, I carried my W. German 226 9mm as my duty pistol. It is the only pistol I have ever carried that my life actually depended on. So I would go old school and pull the old girl out of the safe. Her bark is not nearly a bad as her bite. And I can still run her through the ringer and she begs for more. She's a dirty girl. Wink

Glock 19. I prefer Gen 3 but I'll take any one you want to give me.

After shooting the G19X yesterday, I would have to say that it would give my EDC G23 a run for that top dog spot. If only it came in black...

Although I love the Glock 19&17. For only one handgun, it would be a four inch 357. A 686 or GP100. I want the power for hunting, plus taming it down a bit with 38's.

Glock 19, period. The 19 doesn't excel at any one thing, but it does everything pretty well. Durability, reliability, ease of maintenance, and accurate.

Your hard pressed to find anything else out there that could compete in a variety of environments.

They simply work....
