Glock 19 I would have said Sig 320 if the mags weren't double the price. In all seriousness it's a toss up between those two for me and the only thing that puts the G19 on top is the fact that I bought some spare mags new this year for $15 each (1 day only midway sale) and the Sig 320 mags are always more than double that...... Sometimes, you gotta roll the hard six

Hopefully that day never comes ... ... but if it did it would be the Glock 19 If you really want something you'll find a way ... ... if you don't you'll find an excuse. I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either

G128? I don't even know what that is... but it's a surprising pick given your history with the P228 - which in part, thanks to you - would be my choice (in 9mm). This message has been edited. Last edited by: HawkeyeJohn,

This. Same reasons. Also, perfect "medium" size and common caliber.

For the last 2 decades I would have said P229 9mm. But my love for the P226 goes back even further, and I finally satisfied that need with a Legion, so that one. But then I can't help but love the beast that is the P220 10mm. All steel, reverse two tone, piranha gripped, fire breathing beast. Yep, that one.

.45 caliber minimum. 2 years ago, I would have said my Colt 1911. Today, I have to go with my new all stainless Elite P220. Second choice would also the be the P220, but in 10mm. I keep either of the two loaded, depending on which one I will be shooting in matches coming up (the loaded one gets carried at ready, the other is in the gun bag). Either one will hopefully give me time to get to the 870 if at home.

The cake is a lie! |
I'd have to go with my Glock 26 since EDC is part of the requirement. If concealment wasn't a factor, then I would probably go with my 19 or 17 just for the fact that they allow a more positive grasp.

Just for the hell of it |
G19 There are some handguns I like better but for everyday carry and protection it's hard to beat the G19. _____________________________________ Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain. Jack Kerouac

One and one only??? That's tough but I guess I'd take my gen 3 glock 20. I need something for the woods, not just cc or hd duty and as much as I love my g19/17s they just won't really cut it for woods use.

Only one, and not have to scrounge for ammo: Smith and Wesson Mod. 19 .357 with a four inch barrel. But if the SHTF and all we had available was 9mm; Beretta 92.

S&W model 27 with a 5" barrel . .357 magnum. if it has to be a bottom feeder, next best is a P226 in .357 sig.
