It is a service GS offers now instead of having to get another barrel and comp. The newer cut they have is something similar to the P365 Spectre comp design. I have been told it works really well.

I would rather do a new barrel and comp because you can reverse it if you want. That's just me though.

For ME:
DA/SA=Sig 9mm or HK P30 LEM 9
Striker fired= Glock 9mm
If it's a .45= 1911
Suppressed= HK in .45
I like anything in 10mm

Here is my G28X .380 configuration. I assembled this. Very good shooter. I swap my G26 and G28 slide back and forth. Works perfect with both. (Glock store M1X frame)

Here is my G25X. Glock 25 .380 slide on a PSA Full size-S frame. 17 round .380 mags by Promag.

I thought about that as well but then, but in my opinion it goes back to G19 size, which defeats the purpose for me.

For Glocks in general, I find it funny and amazing at how much more you can spend on these guns, whether perceived need or not, compared to any other brand. In and of themselves, they are a great gun but the personal touches we can put on them, makes it a great platform.

I wonder if they followed the Ruger and Sig modularity platforms, how much less could be done/added to them and maybe a reason why they don't.

How do you like that configuration with the 380? Are there any issues with certain ammo types. I like that option. I kick myself for not getting the used Glock 25 my dealer had a couple months ago. I would have bought it for my wife. Wink

The G28 uses a strong double recoil spring - same as the G26. Weaker ammo can be problematic. So far, AAC ammo from PSA is too weak (failures to eject) and Browning flat point had a failures to load once or twice. Every other .380 load I tried worked fine. Every JHP load worked perfect.

Never any issues with the G25. G28 works perfect with decent ammo with above bunny fart power factor.

These guns are such cool shooters. Shooting a G19 size gun with 50% less recoil is pretty fun. Back on target so fast.

If you want one, better grab one. Prices are skyrocketing. If Glock never brings them back into US production, these .380 guns will be worth $1500 or more. They seem to be bringing $700-$800 as of now... and that will only go up.

Honestly, Glock should sell G25 and G28 slides (and .380 mags) right on their website. Could be a low production item, but keep selling them. Everyone that shoots mine tries to find one for sale.
