| I had the Zero 1 in full size & compact. They were good value guns if you want something that resembles a legacy P-series 9mm for under $500. I would have kept them if they were compatible w/ P226/229 mags. IMO, that was a big mistake by Arex.
I also had a first generation Delta. It was also a great value gun that holds its own against a stock Glock but at 50-60% of the price. KyGunCo currently has the Delta 2 for $265, which is 'Why bother w/ Taurus?' pricing.
I currently own a Rost Martin RM1C, which is a licensed Delta clone made in Dallas, TX. If you want a compact or subcompact and are not interested in all the 4AMP Maritime features, I'd recommend Rost Martin. The optic mounting system is superior as are the trigger shoe, and no LCI.
BTW, it's rumored that one of the lead designers from Sig Sauer DE left for Arex when Sig Germany closed up shop. |

| I've had a Rex Alpha for probably 7 years. It's a really solid gun that is very similar to a raced out 226. I really enjoyed it and shot it a lot for a few months. I haven't touched it in a few years but it was more due to moving on to optics. |

| The Alpha has a superb trigger.
The Zero 2 was released I think almost three years ago. You don't hear much about it, and I've never seen one in person or stores. Arex doesn't seem to be promoting it. If you go to <Arex.us>, it's not even listed.
Some more tidbits about the Delta & RM1C: The RM1C doesn't have a raised LCI, but it does have a barrel hood witness hole as M&Ps do.
Delta & RM1C both accept CZ P-10C mags and Sig dovetail sights.
They're actually a little closer in dimensions to a G48 than a G19, although due to trigger guard shape, they will fit some G19 holsters but not G48.
They use a chassis system, so you can change frames as you would on a P320.
Rost Martin optic plates are steel w/ recoil lugs. Arex's are polymer. |
