Got a couple more percussion pocket pistols in, each kind of neat in their own way... Marked London, but Belgian proofs, as a ton of these were commonly made in Belgium and marked for retailers all over Europe and England. The one in the back I already had, the other two are the new guys. Obviously, the double barrel is cool because, well double barrels! Looks to be fairly high quality, Damascus rifled barrels, and a nice touch of engraving. The other one is cool just due to caliber. Instead of an effeminate .36, a "European big bore" of .44, or even a big ol "Good enough for Murica" .50, it looks to be about .62! Also looks to be of nice quality. Not sure how comfortable I would be having to rely on a pocket sized percussion pistol for defense, but I guess if you had to, either two shots, or one giant shot would be better than nothing! For more formal occasions, a friend bought himself a pair of duelers. I am going to buy him some balls so we can have a Meeting at The Oaks, as Yancy Derringer would say.

Very nice. I have a similar one but no pics. Love the artistic pictures! Well done! Icarus flew too close to the sun, but at least he flew.
