I purchased a Colt Government model in 1980, and later had it customized by Richard Heinie. Still in the safe, along with my first duty gun, a S&W model 66-2 I was issued in November of 1981.

Left the blazing dumpster fire of of taxes, corruption and tyranny that is Illinois, for freedom in Florida.

Colt Cobra, purchased new in 1977. The revolver was stolen from a delivery truck when I'd shipped it out for refinishing, in the mid-80s. Miraculously, it was recovered in a Detroit area raid, a couple of years later and returned to me. I sent it out for refinishing in satin nickel, a second time. It's still with me, function and finish is perfect, but no longer carried.

Like Bendable mine is a 4” Stainless GP100 I bought used in 1987. It has the most amazing trigger. I’ve never shot another revolver that has a trigger as smooth and crisp. I’ve maybe got 500 rounds through it.

I am not BIPOLAR. I don't even like bears.

S&W Model 19-4 Nickel Bought it from a coworker around 1982-83. Based on the serial number and info I can find online, it was made in 1980.

I'm not including antique pieces here. My first gun was a Ruger Single Six from 1956. It was used when Dad gave it to me in about 1969, when I was 10. Still have it.

Smith & Wesson 4506-1....original owner. I picked it up in the early 90's while enrolled at Auburn.

All my buddies were buying Glock 17s and so the day I brought it to the range they were questioning why I bought such a "brick". I still laugh today as this old fellow who ran this range in east Lee County (somewhere between Auburn and Beauregard) called my Marine ROTC buddies "P's" for not buying a "man's" pistol.

And yes the G17 has outlasted my Smith however I just cant stand to part with it.
