Shopping for CCW pistol
If you like the 229 that much, I'd grab the SP2022. It's similar in size, lighter in weight is a surprisingly good gun to shoot. Plus it's usually affordable.
The other guns on your list are good too, but the SP2022 is the same manual of arms as your 226 and will be easier to carry.

However, If I were you I'd look at a P365. That's my CCW in NY. It's small, light, short grip circumference and holds the state max of 10 rounds plus one in the pipe.

+1 for the sp2022. I'd say it's one of the best values out there for a da/sa pistol. Every one I've shot or handled had a very nice trigger too.

The P365, SP2022 and P229 are all on CA's roster.

My LGS told me the SP2022 is leaving production. I have been thinking of getting an SP2022 for two years now, but probably won't now.

I find the 2022 blocky and uncomfortable.

The 250 has a better grip by far, but it's DAO.

I normally carry a P365 variant AIWB or behind the hip - depends on my mood, dress, environment. If you like hammer fired pistols, I’ll echo what another member said about maybe taking advantage of the H&K promo. It doesn’t apply to the P2000SK just the standard P2000. Look for a model with the LEM trigger. You can take it to a V1 with a spring swap.

Some CZ P07s had issues with the trigger not resetting. I have one of those. I’m waiting for parts to come back in stock on CZ’s website so I can install a new disconnector and trigger bar hoping that will fix the issue. Definitely dry fire one to test before you buy. The grip is lacking in texture though in my opinion.

Maybe consider an M&P 2.0 subcompact or Shield Plus. They can be had with a safety if that’s important to you.

The USPC doesn’t have a rebate and the stock trigger leaves more than a little to be desired. It’s serviceable. If you’re used to working on your guns and doing frame and slide strips, you can vastly improve it with just a few part swaps. Grayguns has a short trigger reset kit that is awesome.
