Since P210-2 magazines are so difficult to find and are expensive. Can one of the new magazines for the german made pistols work in an older P210 by changing the magazine base plate??? If not does anyone have any older P210 magazines for sale. Thank you

I've read that you can use the P225/P6 mag base plate on the German mag, and it will work. The Italian (Mec-Gar) P210 mag will not work, however, because it's just a bit too long.

P210 Legend magazines will work by grinding (filing) a slight bevel on the baseplate. They are available at Top Gun Supply.

They're always for sale on Gun Broker for between $130 and $150 each. You have a $2000+ pistol. Why no use the correct magazines?

ap1169, Yes the German magazines, using the flat sheet metal Swiss base plate, fit and function just fine in the Swiss P210.

As 12131 said, by swapping the baseplate with the older P225/P6 baseplate, they work just fine. I've done it with a number of mags and there's absolutely no problem.
