parabellumWas that your intent? Because, if so, I can treat you to another stimulating experience.
You're telling me you're trolling this forum. Do I understand you correctly?

No, I’m sorry if I offended anyone, I don’t normally post/contribute to the forum. I’ve just been getting a kick out of peoples opinion and thought I’d share mine as I am a member of the forum and have been for a while. I am going to take this time however to have a boomer/two world wars moment… I believe the cz 75 P-01 does have a nsn number

goseI for one might be trying to snag one up quickly, since I dont see this lasting for long in their lineup.
In 50y it might be collectible!

siliconsorcererA P225 compact with the P365 style magazine, shorter barrel, shorter grip. Make that and I'll buy several. This p210 is a disappointment.

Walther DudeFans seem disappointed but I'd like to own the carry model for the most important reason of all. I always wanted one. I hear distributors are placing orders now. Does anyone have any idea when they will appear in Gun stores? Does anyone have a favorite Master dealer?

You're not wrong. It does generally fit what Sig calls a "carry" (shorter slide and full-size frame). I've always found that to be a little questionable in nomenclature anyway. Truth told, as I thought about "carrying" a 210 Carry, I questioned why a fella wouldn't just carry a 210 with anything but Target grips. The slide length isn't any worse than a full-size 1911 (which I've carried a fair bit), and I do love a steel frame... Oh well.
And at the risk of being obvious, I'm just trying to continue the discussion and not start shit like seems to be happening some...

Austin228I'd call it the P210 Modern and still be happy with it, I like SIG for trying with new hammer fired all metal guns (steel and alloy is fine)
SIG just better not pretend these are Swiss all steel P210's when they come up with the pricing.

They don't need to pretend anything. Prices of all the American P210s are already out there, and they ain't Swiss pricing.

Does this mean I should be able to find the price of a P210 Carry online right now?
I did some searching and I couldn't find it.
I saw the P210 Standard ones for about $1100-1300 but that wasn't the P210 Carry, those had steel frames, I wonder if they'll lower the price compared to that model.
Definitely Swiss ones go for $3k etc so I think I understand your jib.

DaBigBRI have them backordered. I expect to be about the last to get them but I'll be selling at MAP. Gouging is lame.

12131Osage's listing is an auction, not a fixed price. They're not gouging anybody. Starting bid is $1500 (MSRP). No one is forcing you to BIN it at $2000. They can set the BIN at a million, but as long as there is a reasonable starting bid, so what? Only the dumbest shit would buy this gun at BIN. I personally don't think this gun is worth any more than 1k. If I'm desperate, maybe 1.1k. But someone starts selling it at MSRP is not out of the question, imo.

Il CattivoWell, MSRP can be the result of creative imagination, too. These may be released in limited numbers, but I wouldn't jump at $1500 right off the bat either.
February 23, 2022, 12:30 PM
12131Manufacturers, not dealers, set the MSRP. And yes, we don't want to pay MSRP, but that's beside the point. Bottom line is, Osage is not gouging anybody.

Il CattivoI know who sets MSRPs, it's in the name ("manufacturers suggested retail price"). I was trying to make the point that I wouldn't jump at MSRP either since pistols are likely to be available for less than MSRP.
