Congratulations! CZ makes fine firearms.

I have held a number, dryfired a handful and owned a couple.

I will say that I find only single-action CZs or decocker models [with the decocker lever to the rear- not the front like Omegas] really seem to fit my hand, so I am jealous that this works so well for you.

Enjoy! This should last for many years.

Sigs and Non-Sigs: I enjoy having options!

The P01 can also use full size CZ75 mags. Mecgar makes 16, 17, and 19 rd mags that Greg Cote always keeps in stock. Factory CZ mags are pricey.

No, Google is not my friend.

The newer P-09C looks a little less funky. It also has some improvements like an optic-ready (if I were to use an optic) slide, deeper slide serrations and a little protrusion on the decocking levers that might make them easier to operate. The flat ones on my P-07 are my only real nitpick about it.

I use the flush-fit 15-round ones with a blue follower and plastic base plate in my P-01. The all-metal ones have sharp corners. I tried to put a rubber base plate on one but it wouldn't quite lock into place.

I made the mistake of picking up a SP01 Tactical, trigger was OK. I installed a CGW Pro kit, major improvement. Then a P01 same. Word of caution getting into a CZ sear cage assembly is not for the the impatient. But it is worth the effort.

Thank you, I'll look into that.
I see they have an Omega kit.

Your first foray into CZ sear cages will make you go cross eyed. Lots of good videos out there though.

I watched a few videos on the sear cages and it was quite intimidating.
I've done total strips of older P-series Sigs without a problem, but that sear cage looked frustrating.

I emailed Cajun Gun Works and asked if I could drive from Dallas and have them do it, and they said no problem.
If I made an appointment, they said they could do it that day.

I brought up the sear cage, and apparently the Omega CZs don't have one.
Watching the Omega video, the Omega wasn't much different from the Sig as far as small parts go.

So I ordered the kit; it should be here tomorrow.
I will say Jacob from CGW was very helpful in answering all my silly questions through multiple emails.

My favorite of several CZ guns is this PCR purchased new in 2013 for about $450.00. I have a hard time paying over $1,000 for a new one, especially the plastic frame ones.
