I just picked up two stripped slide and frame assemblies from a garage sale. Are there any recommendations for obtaining all of the parts to complete these? These are stripped slide and frames only, so I will need every last piece. Thank you for any source recommendations.

Try out Everygunparts.com. I picked up parts several years ago from them. The link goes to the 5906 parts page. Think things have dried up after all the police trade ins dried up. But this is a good start, to watch if anything comes up, but may take awhile.

I have found blister packed parts kits on gunbroker on occasion.

S&W 915 parts interchange with the 5906 if you don't mind mixing in some dark parts (there are several kits on everygunpart). One variation you might encounter depends on whether the slides you have accept a narrow or wide hood barrel.
