I was sick of it when Smith & Wesson started putting those stupid locks on all of their revolvers, Sig put rails on all their classic P-series pistols, and every AR-15 needed nine million rails and doodads hanging off of it. But the market dictates what sells. Who knows, maybe during the next recession people will opt for more simplistic, utilitarian designs.

I love my p226 and Dan Wesson Valor, they are my classic pistols, But when traveling my Walther P99 is my lightweight go to plastic pistol. I do not like small mouse guns like the p365.

Choose your favorite handguns, then shoot them. Wash, rinse, and repeat. There are bigger things in life to get excited about.

I collect only full metal gun, well, maybe the exception of plastic follower. I do buy and shoot plastic gun, but if my HK USP failed on the "metal insert", I don't expect any plastic gun, not even Sig to last as long as the full metal one. "Collect" is the operative word here. .)))*"((((((( *¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫.♥.♫ •*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫.♥.♫ •*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫.♥.♫ •*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•* >>> o <<< .\___~___/ Get some, then get some more ... My first handgun purchase was a Colt series 70 Government model. I still have it and it is well worn. Always felt a bit too large to conceal, but I made do. I finally caved to the plastic craze and carried a G19 for a few years. Recently I picked up a Ruger SR1911 LW Commander and the world is right again. It only weighs 2oz more than the G19, but is thinner and feels like "home". Having 22 vs 46 rounds available isn't really an issue, because If I need more than 22 rounds of 45ACP, I am really in the wrong place.
