Up for grabs is this Magill's Glock Store tungsten guide rod for Gen5 G17 & G34 9mm pistols. This solid guide rod adds an additional ounce of weight out front and supposedly reduces muzzle flip. In truth, after 100 consecutive rounds I didn't notice an appreciable difference over the factory rod though I did experience a single FTE with Federal HST 124's. I doubt the aftermarket guide rod/spring was the culprit, though I elected to reinstall the OEM Glock assembly. Perhaps one of you would like to give the GS assembly a try.
This karma is open to all Glock owning SIGforum members who have heroically faced their inner demons and no longer live a chaotic, closeted Glock existence. I prefer participants own a Gen5 G17 or G34 though it isn't a requirement. If you would like, post a picture of your Glock and/or it's special pet name. Good luck and thanks for participating.

I bought the tungsten rod that uses standard springs and a retaining screw and plug to fill the gap. Works great. Doesn’t do dick. My experience mirrors yours. Lol
