If they didn't to you or anyone know if they still refinish barrels? Used to be their Custom Shop webpage had some deets and other offerings - now it is pretty sparse. Picked up a trade-in P220 and the barrel looks rough ...
It’s not part of the price. They may do it separate but I cannot answer that question. The slides have to be sent in with barrel and RSA removed.
Both of these pistols see use, it’s just the light that hides the wear marks.

As far as I'm concerned, they dropped the ball on that. No legitimate excuses for it.
I wouldn't call it a legit excuse, but it is almost certainly that they weren't factory sights and it's a liability thing. They can guarantee their stuff and their parts, but that doesn't extend to stuff that isn't OEM.
It's well-known that you don't send a pistol back to Glock with aftermarket stuff installed and expect it back with those parts installed. For a long time, it was that you shouldn't expect those parts back at all. It's my understanding that in recent years, they'll included them in them in a bag in the box with all factory stuff installed. That SIG does similar is not, in and of itself, that surprising to me. Glock, to my knowledge, will reinstall aftermarket sights. SIG's CS is less than consistent and we keep seeing that on this forum over and over.
Now, that said, that they returned the pistol with no fucking sights installed whatsoever is what's so egregrious, not that they wouldn't reinstall the aftermarket sights.

Nick BI called Sig last year about refinishing a 226 Legion frame that has a lot of holster finish wear and was told they don’t refinish frames .
Maybe because the frame is alloy ?

andronicusHmmm. I have a 1994 226 that needs some refinishing. Are their prices that much better than say CCR? They recently did my beat to hell 228 and it looks like new.
