"First series" Beretta 92 aka "step-slide" made 1975-1977. They quickly removed the step and the later models in this time period looked the same as this but the simpler slide design.

The 92XI and 92GTS are spiritual successors to this design.

Had a couple step slides. Cool pieces of history.
