ACP1Disassembly of the Sig 210
I know I am getting old but why is it so difficult to remove the breakdown pin on a P210?. If I follow the instructions the pin will not come out. I actually pull the slide all the way back and then I can get the pin out. Are the instructions simply wrong?

12131I've always found the P210 and the CZ 75 family of pistols to be a little fussy when it comes to the takedown lever.

GaryBFA general comment for any that are reading: It would be very helpful in posts like this if the author mentioned which generation P210 he was writing about. There are three: the Swiss P210, the P210 Legend, and now the P210A. I doubt that they are all the same.

rock185I was lost at "breakdown pin". Had never heard the term, but I admit I don't get out much

I've had all three, and, while they're not the same, my comment above applies to all three. Just one man's experience. Yours might be different.

drshameI've found moving the slide a bit during removal helps loosen the take-down lever/pin.
When new, it's really tight...like all the other tolerances in my 210A Target.
After a while, a few hundred rounds and a few disassemblies...it gets easier.
